Biography: Sonya Pryor-Jones is the executive director for the Ohio STEM Learning Network (a program of Battelle located at Case Western Reserve University) in Cleveland responsible for managing the development of MC²STEM Hub, the Metropolitan Cleveland Consortium for STEM, and supporting the impact of two new regional STEM High Schools: MC²STEM High School and the Design Lab Early College High School. Sonya is responsible for partnership development, and creating opportunities for the scale and replication of STEM education in the region. Sonya also serves as a senior associate for TIES (Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM), providing technical assistance to national STEM initiatives. Sonya has over 10 years of successful administrative experience in education with expertise in program development, recruitment, parental and community engagement, and strategic alliances. In 2006, Sonya was a Coro Cleveland Executive Fellow at the Cleveland Foundation, and she is also a 2009 German Marshall Fund American Marshall Memorial Fellow (AMMF).
